We’re delighted to announce that cybersecurity expert Shaun Reardon will be joining ¡AU!’s Content & IP Defense Summit II on June 15. Reardon has a long history with law enforcement and counter-terrorism. He was the principle cyber operations advisor for the London 2012 Olympic Games and his work with Scotland Yard is the reason you have to take your shoes off at airports – seriously. He is currently Principle Cybersecurity Consultant for global security and risk assessment agency DNV.
Reardon will take part in a one-on-one conversation with ¡AU!’s Neal Romanek on the major cyber threats facing media businesses today – and the bigger threats ahead – and how to be ready when, not if, an attack takes place.
Also joining the Summit will be Chris Parsons of Content Vault to talk about protecting content moving through production and post-production workflows, and Derry Shillitto of production company Simply Thrilled to discuss how smaller media businesses serving many clients can built trust and safety for their clients.
Content production is now hyperconnected, sometimes with hundreds of different points of entry and exit for intellectual property – from script to the edit to marketing materials. The Content & IP Defense Summit II is 90 mins of online discussion, Q&A, and networking designed to help content producers better undstand how to defend against cyberattack and content theft, while making sure teams work at their best and partners and clients stay happy.
