Last month, ¡AU! held the “Emergency summit on the collapse of DEI in the entertainment industry”, bringing together experts from the World Of Woke – that is, people who believe we should all have the same opportunity to work, learn, thrive and get our own shot at steering the ship. Unfortunately, there are people working overtime right now to ensure that only a small subset of the usual suspects get access to that opportunity.

In our second Summit panel, “White supremacy is not a river in Egypt”, our guests took on the problem of racial hierarchy in the creative industries – its history, the progress made and lost, and how media professionals should respond to the unfolding anti-DEI crisis in the US.
