Monster Lab is a new education series from ¡AU! designed for writers, directors, designers, actors, make-up artists, composers, entrepreneurs, psychologists, scientists – anyone who makes a living using their imagination – where we study villains in order to build creative muscle. Presentations at Monster Lab dive deep into the brain (theory), body (craft), and spirit (business) of building the best (or worst?) antagonists you can in whatever creative discipline you work in. Think of it as a kind of Hogwarts for horror fans.
Monster Lab will make its earthly debut on Sat., October 18 with our online event, MONSTER LAB: INCARNATION ONE. Three brilliant creatives will share their knowledge and experience on monster-making to help you tame, harness, maybe even befriend., your own bad guys. Tickets are on sale now.
