On March 24, we held our first event, “Emergency Summit on the collapse of DEI in the entertainment industry“. The online gathering explored how creative professionals can fight the recent dismantling of diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) by the US government – and US businesses.
Three panel discussions examined how the rollbacks might affect different populations, not just in the American creative industries, but in sector worldwide. The first session, “A woman’s place is in the audience and other lies”, brought together experts who have been working hard to supercharge gender diversity in film and TV.
